Central Hotels
These hotels are located right in the heart of Würzburg – perfect if you want to explore the old town on foot. All are also just a short drive from the Nikolaushof.
Please note: October 3rd is a national holiday in Germany, so many centrally located hotels book up quickly and are more expensive than usual – we recommend booking early!

General questions

  • When and where will the wedding take place?

     Our wedding will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025 (a public holiday in Germany), at the Nikolaushof Restaurant (Johannisweg 2, 97082 Würzburg). Meeting point is at 3:30 p.m. sharp at the entrance to the Nikolaushof.  

  • By when do we have to confirm?

     Please let us know your acceptance or rejection by July 15th at the latest using the wedding registration form.    

  • Is there parking on site?

     Yes, there is free parking directly at the Nikolaushof restaurant.    

  • Can we also travel by public transport?

    Yes, it's easily possible! Simply take the train to Würzburg Hauptbahnhof (main station). From there, take tram line 5 to the "Löwenbrücke" stop. From there, a scenic walk of about 22 minutes takes you up the hill to Nikolaushof.

  • What is the dress code?

    Festive – feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable and special in. For the outdoor ceremony, we recommend a jacket or a shawl, depending on the weather.

  • Can we bring children?

     With pleasure! Please indicate the number and ages of your children on the wedding registration form so we can plan everything accordingly.    

  • Can we specify allergies or dietary requirements?

     You can indicate any allergies, intolerances or special requests on the wedding registration form – we will, of course, take these into account.

  • What happens if the weather is bad?

    Don't worry—we've prepared a great solution even if it rains. You don't have to freeze or get wet!

  • Where are the nearest airports?

    You can easily arrive via several airports.  The nearest options are: 


    Frankfurt am Main (FRA) – approximately 1 hour by ICE, approximately 1.5 hours by regional train; 


    Nuremberg (NUE) – approximately 1 hour by ICE, approximately 1.5 hours by regional train. 


    From all airports, you can easily reach Würzburg Hauptbahnhof by train.
